Murderers Are Optimists Biography
'Time (It's Mine)' OUT 15 OCTOBER 2021
Hastings based Alt-Rock band, Murderers Are Optimists, released their debut single 'Paint No Illusion' in May 2021, which received support from Melita Dennett and was played on her BBC Introducing show on BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey.
As momentum was building, Murderers Are Optimists, released their second single 'Twisted Words' in July 2021 with the band shouting about their distaste for corrupt governments, media and economic disparities, which saw the band being played on BBC Radio again.
With a simplistic rock style and an anti-authoritarian undertone, the band create a rough and ready sound which is blissfully melodic.
Together singer and guitarist, Paul Sunshine, bassist, Jo Gonzo and drummer, Peter Thomas create an overall vibe of the whole 90’s lad-rock culture, just a bit heavier and faster.
You may have heard and seen it all before, but perhaps not quite like this...
