Vanilla Ice Biography
Robert Matthew "Vanilla Ice" Van Winkle (born October 31, 1968 in Dallas, Texas) is an American rapper, known today for the single "Ice Ice Baby" that topped the charts in the early-1990s. At the time, he was also one of the very few successful White rappers.
Although Vanilla Ice has kept low profile for a couple of years, He came back in 1994 with the Hardcore Hip-Hop album Mind Blowin'. After that he came back in 1998 with the album Hard to Swallow which is a Nu Metal album produced by Ross Robinson, Who has also produced albums for Korn,and Limp Bizkit. After that he came out with a follow up album Bi-Polar which was half Rap and Half Nu Metal. Then in 2005 he released Platinum Underground which is mostly Rap with some Rock thrown in.
