Ordet pionjärer är lätt att missbruka, inte minst i presstexter och säljliga inlägg om kommande konserter - men när det kommer till amerikanska The Sword, så är dom faktiskt regelrätta stoner-metal pionjärer! Tiden har äntligen kommit för The Sword att återvända till Europa i sommar och givetvis blir det besök på Ringön och Monument!
Med ikoniska album som ”Age of Winters” och ”Warp Riders” omdefinerade bandet den klassiska stoner-rocken och gav genren ett välbehövligt ansiktslyft med inslag av doom och ösig heavy metal. The Sword bildade sig fort ett namn i alla världens hörn och efter ett evigt turnèrande bestämde man sig för att lägga bandet på is.
2024 började dock isen tina och bandet begav sig ut på scenerna igen under några väl utvalda kvällar. Nu, 2025 återvänder The Sword äntligen till Europa för en handfull datum och detta blir ett kärt återseende av ett av rockens mest intressanta och tyngsta namn.

Doomherre Biography
Doomherre is a doom metal band founded by Daniel Strachal (formerly of Lobotomy, Blindfold, and
Brainwarp – ex Nihilist), Victor Takala (Eyekon, The Broke, and former session/live member of
Katatonia), and Max Collin (Lobotomy, Blindfold, and Votary).
Armed with heavy riffs and a deep respect for legends like Trouble, Candlemass, and The Obsessed,
Doomherre is on a mission to carry the torch of classic doom into new territory. Their sound is rooted
in the traditions of the genre, but the band is not standing still. With a clear sense of where they
come from—and a strong drive to explore new ground—Doomherre is shaping their own path
forward in heavy music.
