Allie Sandt

Emerging folk-rock artist Allie Sandt is carving her own path in the indie scene. At just 22 years old she has made her mark with “complex and entrancing originals that mix folk, blues, and jazz together” (New Haven Independent) while finding her home onstage telling stories and joking with audiences throughout the northeast.

Allie cut her teeth in the upstate NY indie scene playing in basement venues as the primary songwriter, singer, and bassist of Seeing Double, an indie-rock band that found viral success after debut single “Leah." With the band’s 6+ million streams online, she fronted the group throughout the East Coast playing at notable venues such as The Mercury Lounge, The Bitter End, and Pearl Street Warehouse and opened for various acts including HUNNY, Melt, Charlie Burg, Brooke Alexx and more.

Since then, she has relocated to northern NJ and released singles “The Flood,” a song “rooted in the 1970s vibe of Joni Mitchell with a dash of smooth sounds that evoke Fleetwood Mac in their heyday“ (Popdose.com), “The Right Time” which has been well-received online for its comparisons to Norah Jones and Steely Dan and most recently “Ace.” Allie’s music emulates the nostalgia of the 70s rock records she grew up on in its tongue-in-cheek lyricism, with an indie rock edge found in her unique guitar playing and powerful vocals.
