Micah E. Wood

Born in the Tidewater of Virginia, Micah E. Wood moved to Baltimore in 2009 and quickly entrenched himself in the art scene. Befriending and collaborating with musicians across genre, be it the wild and weird hip hop wordsmiths, seductive dance producers, or the roots players. Micah’s sound is deeply influenced by Baltimore’s musical communities, creating a sonic cholent, long-stewed in Charm City.

He returns with a fun-filled EP soaked in pop hooks bolstered by musical contributions of Baltimore’s finest. A long-time collaborator in the highly potent Baltimore arts scene, his sound has taken new form on this record, leaning into his talent as a songwriter able to craft the catchiest of melodies out of even the most mundane subjects.
