A-GAME Biography
IamAGame b.k.a A-Game was born Anthoney L. Ellis Jr. to the city streets of St. Louis in the early 1990's. A-Game is a student of life, poet, philanthropist, & though young, he possesses a professionalism that surpasses many artists who are more tenured.
In only a few short years, A-Game has honed his craft traveling coast to coast amassing hundreds of performances (SXSW, House of Blues i.e), attracting thousands of followers, & blazing mix tapes along the way!
A-Game's previous mix tape release, "No Mo Games" hit May 29, 2015 through digital shops world wide. Though out only 5 short months at the time, “No Mo' Games” mixtape earned 2 nominations for S.L.U.M.FEST (St. Louis Underground Music Festival) HipHop Awards; 'Mixtape of The Year' & 'Male Rap Artist' and won 'Mixtape of the Year' 2016!
The Singles "Sunday On The North" & “Still” are said by many listeners to bring a "refreshing" flavor to Hip-Hop. "Still" is featured on the film 'Cronies' executively produced by Spike Lee, directed by Michael Larnell.
“No Mo' Games” is a vividly written chapter in A-Games life.
In IamAGame's new single "I Can't Tell", A-Game depicts family loyalty, a strong dose of reality, and targets those talking about what they don't have with a focused lyrical skill. Produced by K Swisha , the beat is ferocious and bangs in clubs, cars, and homes. "I Can't Tell" is infectious and can be played repeatedly making it strong debut single for the upcoming "My City Made Me A Monster" mixtape. "I Can't Tell" Video debuted on Tidal Black Friday 2016 and migrating through DJ visual mixes and Blogs across the globe!
