In the Company of Wolves Biography
Originally from Portland, Maine, Sydney and Brayden Guerrette now call Chattanooga, Tennessee home. Since 2019, this brother and sister have been traveling across the U.S., performing in 42 states and sharing their own stories of mental health struggles through music. They intertwine their love for music with a passion for storytelling, combining thought-provoking lyrics with layered melodies. Inspired by musical influences like Novo Amor, Bon Iver, and Mumford and Sons, their unique sound—think Glen Hansard meets Phoebe Bridgers—aims to foster community and ensure that people, especially those struggling with mental health, feel seen, heard, and loved. They’ve had the privilege of opening for artists like Steve Earle and Jonathan Peyton, performing as Sofar Sounds artists in Atlanta and as juried artists with Music to Life. Notably, they performed alongside Sunny War at a TEDx event in September and Sydney participated as a panelist at AmericanaFest 2023, discussing music as a vehicle for community change.
