Mantra Machine Biography
Mantra Machine brings heavy, hypnotic grooves and immersive soundscapes with a fresh, modern twist on psychedelic rock. This three-piece band crafts instrumental jams that blend driving guitars, fuzz-drenched bass, and dynamic drums with layered synth atmospheres.
Launching with a powerful debut at England's Sonic Rock Solstice festival in 2012, Mantra Machine soon dropped Stage One, their first EP. Their full-length album Nitrogen followed in 2014, marking the start of their journey through expansive, atmospheric compositions. A growing reputation led to an invitation to the legendary Roadburn Festival in 2016, followed by performances at Belgium's Yellowstock and a mini-tour in Germany and Austria.
In 2019, the band released Heliosphere, further exploring new sounds and ambitious arrangements in an acclaimed instrumental journey. With Selwyn Slop (ex-Monomyth) as new bassist on board, Mantra Machine is currently focused on crafting their third album, promising to take listeners even deeper into their sonic universe.
Paul Geerts: guitars & synths
Selwyn Slop: guitars, bass & bass-pedal
