About this concert
Mike TV plays amazing songs that he gives away for free because he doesn't like this place very much, thinks it smells bad, and feels a few amazing tunes might help the atmosphere.

Get Set Go Biography
Get Set Go formed in 2002, on the East Side of Los Angeles in Highland Park. They were seminal members of the indie-rock scene that grew out of Mr. T's Bowl. Their songwriter and frontman, Mike TV, was the impressario of the free Tuesday night at Mr. T's, and that grew into a scene that was home to scores and scores of amazing bands.
Get Set Go has always maintained an exceptionally independent ethos. Even after they signed there first record deal with TSR Records, the band continued to book their own tours, make their own t-shirts, and do their assemble 98% of every single bill they ever played. They have maintained a ferocious loyalty to their fans and their friends' bands.
In 2013, Mike TV left his longtime home of Los Angeles and moved to Austin, TX. There, without the distractions of friends and bandmates, he started writing, recording, and releasing a significant amount of music. In the past four years, he has released 6 full length Get Set Go albums, 2 full-length side-project albums, and 2 side-project ep's. He also now live-streams on Twitch 20+ hours a week as MikeTVLive.
The band owes an enormous debt of gratitude to the producers and music supervisor of the hit television series, Grey's Anatomy, who repeatedly licensed the bands music for almost a full decade. Mike TV has averred that without Grey's Anatomy, and their interest in his music, he would most definitely not be making music to this day, and quite likely, not even be alive. For that story, you can talk to him directly, via Twitch.
