Jason Sweeney Music Biography
Award-winning singer/songwriter Jason Sweeney has just released a new EP, "Unknown Direction." The EP was a lockdown project that sees Jason step towards his hard rock roots providing songs that make you fist punch the sky and sing along with the stadium anthem chorus that makes you turn up the volume.
His solo music and previous melodic rock power trio The King Lot (who released two acclaimed albums) have taken him around the UK touring and performing capacity.
As well as holding a 1st class honours degree in music and a masters degree in songwriting, Jason has been recognised by Abertay University in Dundee, Scotland, for his contribution towards music in the community.
The University of West of Scotland presented him with the court medal for outstanding performance in his music masters degree. To top all this, he holds the Tartan Clef Award by Nordoff Robins Music Therapy (as part of the Hard Rock Cafe awards).
