Starlette's Web Biography
Starlette’s Web is the Midwest’s ONLY tribute band to iconic female artists of Pop, Rock, Country, and Groove from the ‘80s to today. Paying homage to some of the most influential female artists and female-fronted bands of all time, (including Joan Jett, Shania Twain, Tina Turner, Katy Perry, Cher, Alanis Morrisette, Dolly Parton, Lizzo, and more) Starlette's Web is certain not to disappoint! Stephanie Varone is a powerful performer who has been singing professionally since the age of 16. She has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and on NBC and TNN. In addition to Stephanie V., Lindsay Mattson offers stellar vocals, musicianship, and presence. The band includes Minneapolis greats - guitarist Jeff Bernett, bassist Patrick Smith, keyboardist Karl Von Gohren, and drummer Peter "Pistol Pete" Suttman.
Though Starlette's Web is newer to the Twin Cities music scene, the response from audiences, event organizers, and promoters alike has been extremely strong. The band has received rave reviews in an ever-expanding territory across the Midwest - rapidly building an outstanding brand while they enjoy engaging their fans with rousing entertainment with each extraordinary show.
