2022 hat Betterov mit »OLYMPIA« ein allseits beklatschtes Top-5-Album veröffentlicht, die im Oktober 2023 nachgeschobene Erweiterung »OLYMPIA (Ehrenrunde Deluxe)« samt neuer Stücke und Gastbeiträgen von Paula Hartmann, Blumengarten und Provinz haben Betterov über die deutsche Indiepop-Szene hinaus bekannt gemacht. 2022 hat er den Preis für Popkultur gewonnen, bei Late Night Berlin, Inas Nacht und Studio Schmitt gespielt und den prall gefüllten Festivalsommer mit einer ausverkauften Headliner-Tour gekrönt.
