Hugo Arán Biography
Hugo Arán is a Catalan musician, singer-songwriter and guitarist. His songs present sounds of Latin American folklore and world music (especially Brazilian, Uruguayan and Argentine), refined harmonies and intimate and committed lyrics. References such as Márcio Faraco, Chico Buarque, Jorge Drexler and Aca Seca Trío are recognized in his work.
In 2024 he launches Ar, a collaboration album through which the tradition of percussions and rhythms of Brazil pass through. Lyrics in Spanish and Portuguese and musicians from both sides of the Atlantic make up a mosaic of Ibero-American musical affinity.
