The original Pisces party was introduced as a Secret Psychedelica theme night back in 2002. That first night featured only two DJs but over the years, the Pisces party has grown and moved through various venues before finding its latest home at the DNA Lounge in 2018. To celebrate 23 years of the Pisces psytrance parties, including this 7th year at DNA Lounge, veteran Pisces artists, Liquid Fish, Rob-Ot, and Forest Green will be providing the proper tunes for the occasion! Liquid Fish and Rob-Ot represent the Northern and Southern Fish of California's finest psytrance producers. Liquid Fish has been at the forefront of dance music innovation since the mid 90s. Rooted in Southern California's legendary desert scene, Liquid Fish has taken his psychedelic sounds from the dusty desert dance floors to clubs, underground warehouses, and major music festivals including EDC and Nocturnal Wonderland. His production work falls in the range of peak time and melodic techno to psychedelic trance and combines infectious grooves and moody progressions sewn together by intricate melodies. Rescheduled from the cancelled Pisces 2020 show, Liquid Fish finally makes his return to San Francisco to showcase his chart topping tunes as well as unreleased tracks from his label, Tremor Records. Rob-Ot has been a long time member of the San Francisco Bay Area psytrance scene going as far back as the Phoenix Family collective of early 2000s. Perhaps one of the most skilled yet scandalously underrated DJs in the community, Rob-Ot will always bring his best to the table as evidenced by his ability to open, close, or DJ any time slot in-between in any room at almost every Pisces party for the last 16 years. This year he's been given the centerpiece spot in the psytrance room to let his creativity loose. Expect a full-on psytrance explosion from Rob-Ot at Pisces 2025! A memorial set for Carlos Alfonzo will start things off for the evening. Carlos Alfonzo was a pisces DJ and producer that was on the Pisces lineup quite regularly since 2008. Sometimes as his alter ego, Suprimo. Just before his passing, Carlos had asked to DJ at Pisces 2025 and was accepted immediately! Practically 11 months in advance, he was the first artist confirmed! Even though Carlos is no longer with us, his life and the booking will be honored by the playing of his last DJ set from 1015 Folsom (recorded live). Please arrive early and fill the room with love for one of the best to ever do it, Carlos Alfonzo! One the opposite side of the program, Secret Psychedelica founder, Michael Liu, will be closing things out with a special 50th birthday set. Stay late and help celebrate! House, techno, and psy-tech have connected to form the soundtrack for this year's Al Rishi room. Legendary hometown hero Forest Green accompanied by veteran pisces DJs Reverend, Scott Rich, and Tek Stiile will fill every corner of the second room with proper funky grooves and hypnotizing electro rhythyms. Secret Psychedelica residents DJ Zach Tyler and the Juice Box DJs will get the audio energies flowing with psy-tech and progressive sets respectively.
