SLOWTORCH Biography

Italian heavy rockers SLOWTORCH have been setting stages ablaze with their potent blend of heavy riffs, relentless rhythms, and fierce vocals. Drawing from influences such as Black Sabbath, Clutch or Corrosion of Conformity, their distinctive, in-your-face sound has garnered them a devoted following.
SLOWTORCH have shared the stage with Orange Goblin, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, Ed Mundell's Ultra Electric Mega Galactic, Karma To Burn, Nebula, Messa, Volbeat, Fatso Jetson, Nick Oliveri’s Mondo Generator, and many more, with tours and over 200 shows in Italy, the UK, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Following the 2022 release of the band’s widely praised sophomore album, “The Machine Has Failed”, Electric Valley Records gave their 2014 effort, “SERPENTE”, a 10th anniversary reissue on vinyl in 2024.

“Killer songcraft and a deeply powerful underpinning of driving rhythm many of their genre-mates would kill for.” metal-digest.com

“Fiery Riffs & High Octane Rhythms. High energy performances with accessible, relevant lyrics.” Doomed & Stoned

“SLOWTORCH throw a monkey wrench into the cogs of music mediocrity with their latest. THE MACHINE HAS FAILED brings it all crashing down with its explosive take on napalm imbued heavy music.” Doom Charts April 2022

“The night’s headliners tore with vigor into classic riff rock, a little burl here, some blues there for sure, but fun more than anything else. They rocked until the lights came on — because it was getting dark, not because they were being told to stop — and it started and stayed a good time. Front to back. Fucking a. They rocked the sun down.” JJ Koczan - The Obelisk, Bear Stone Festival 2024
