The Manatees Biography
"These Southampton natives are freaking killer! Their energy is contagious." - Distiller Records
"The Manatees are bringing a much-needed dose of energy to our currently gloomy world"- When the Horn Blows
Hailing from a sleepy town on the south coast of England, The Manatees (Jay, Tyler & Miller) combine hip-hop samples, funk inspired bass lines, thrashing guitars and candid lyrics to carve out their own soundscape within modern rock. Taking influence from Jungle, Wolf Alice and The Strokes, the three school friends now reside in London and have embarked on headline tours across the UK. In 2022 they played sell-out shows in London, Brighton, Southampton, Bristol and Bath.
