About this concert
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 Mighty Mystic is considered as one of the leaders in the U.S. Reggae scene and labeled by many as one of the more prolific artists to develop outside of Jamaica. He has gripped the scene with ferocious conviction and an uncanny ambition worthy to be mentioned among the greats. He has gone from being a fan of reggae music to being a contributor to the art. Mighty Mystic came on the scene in 2006 after scoring his first international hit with the song “Riding on the Clouds.” However, it wasn’t until the release of his first album “Wake up the World” (2010) that he became a household name. “Wake up the World” boasted several standouts, such as “Revolution,” “Riding on the Clouds,” “Original Love,” and “Slipped Away” with appearances from reggae icon Shaggy and roots rocker Lutan Fyah. Mystic continues to wake up the world with his high energy, message driven brand of reggae music which he emphatically calls “HARD ROOTS.” It is this unique spin on classic reggae blended with Hip Hop & Rock that has catapulted him to the forefront of today’s Reggae Revival. Mighty Mystic is also the younger brother of current Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness. When asked, does being the brother of Prime Minister Holness have any impact on your music? Mystic simply says “Andrew has a job to do and so do I, impact or not we both have our own mission to complete.” 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐨 Organically Good Trio is a Hammond organ trio with a reggae spin out of Boston. The band has created a new sound among the growing reggae scene and combines a mixture of reggae, soul, and boogaloo. Founded by Slightly Stoopid keyboard player Paul Wolstencroft, the band has a heavy influence from Jamaican organ legend Jackie Mittoo, as well as the classic boogaloo albums of the late 60's - Boston Veteran Tommy Benedetti (John Brown's Body) holds down the steady rhythm of the drums, and Van Gordon Martin, (Dub Apocalypse) blazes rhythms and solos alike on the guitar. Aside from touring the New England scene for the last 5 years, OGT also has 4 albums to date - Alakazam, Monster Sound, Blazin in Brooklyn, and Lunar Dub.

Organically Good Trio Biography
Organically Good Trio is a Hammond organ driven roots instrumental group out of Boston. Founded by Slightly Stoopid keyboard player Paul Wolstencroft, the band has a sound reminiscent of the great organ trio albums of the late 60's. The music takes elements of jazz, and incorporates a blues, R&B and church sound. There's a lot of feeling involved, and a lot of Ray Charles influence, and even some hints of reggae. At times they sound like Grant Green, the Meters or even Jimmy McGriff, but also can have hints of younger bands such as the Mighty Imperials and the New Mastersounds. There's a reason they use a Hammond organ in a church; its because it's a very soulful instrument. It's like an entire orchestra at your fingertips. Often imitated never duplicated, the Hammond organ is the organ sound everyone is after. Organically Good Trio is a hammond organ trio with a reggae spin out of Boston. Founded by Slightly Stoopid keyboard player Paul Wolstencroft.
