Waking the Cadaver Biography
Waking The Cadaver is a Deathcore band from Shore Points, New Jersey Waking The Cadaver was formed in January 2006 after a discussion amonst
Nick Palmateer (guitar), Steve Vermilyea (bass), Dennis Morgan (drums), Jerry Regan (guitar) and Don Campan (vocals), to start a sound that would incorporate simplistic and overused metalcore breakdowns and squealing pig vocals. Shortly after forming, WTC quickly wrote material, started playing live, and gaining a name for themeselves in the local scene. Upon good response, WTC went to record their 2 song self titled demo. As promised, they proved to be a powerful force in the underground for the year 2006. Dawning upon 2007 WTC hit the studio again, this time to record their debut full length, Perverse Recollections Of A Necromangler… With WTC’s new album, they dropped the pig squeals and use gutturals only. They slimmed down on breakdowns as well.
