"T.A.Thomas” is quickly emerging as a force in modern R&B. Hailing from the Mississippi Delta, the singer, songwriter, and producer blends raw soul with smooth storytelling, creating what he calls Southern Soul- a fusion of R&B, blues, country, and gospel influences. Formerly part of the group Next Town Down, TA made waves with projects like The EP (2018) and Juliet (2019). When the group disbanded in 2020, he seized the moment to evolve as a solo artist. In 2023, he introduced his signature sound with CB2W, racking up over 15 million streams and 150K monthly Spotify listeners. That same year, he earned his first Grammy nomination for co-writing "Talm Bout" on Chris Brown's Breezy. Now signed to High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings, TA is building momentum with recent singles "Angry," "Risky," and "Preach." With his debut EP on the horizon, he's ready to introduce the world to the rich, genre-bending sound of Southern Soul.
