Influenced by artists such as Hubert Laws and Ian Anderson( Jetho Tull), she has cultivated her unique creative style. Renowned as a "master of her craft," she is considered one of the world's most thrilling solo improvisational soul-jazz flutists. The multiplatinum and Grammy-nominated saxophonist Najee affectionately refers to her as the "Maceo of the flute."
