Absolute Losers Biography
Absolute Losers are a rock trio from Charlottetown, PEI, made up of brothers Sam and Josh Langille alongside their childhood friend Daniel Hartinger. Known for their wiry guitar work, laid-back vocals, and danceable interweaving drums and bass, the band made a bold entrance with their self-recorded debut album, At The Mall, released independently in 2023. The album quickly found an audience, earning campus radio acclaim and climbing the charts at CJLO and CHSR, as well as landing the band a feature on Q with Tom Power. In 2024 the band was named “New Artist of the Year” at the Music PEI Awards.
Praised for their air-tight, high-energy live shows, Absolute Losers have become a must-see act, skillfully delivering on the crack musicianship of their recordings. They've shared stages with celebrated artists like TUNS, Daniel Romano's Outfit, Skydiggers, and Holy Fuck, and have played standout sets at festivals like Dawson City Music Festival, Flourish Festival, Sappyfest, and Sommo Fest.
Now, teaming up with acclaimed producer Graham Walsh, the Losers are gearing up to release their sophomore album. This next chapter sees the trio stepping out of their post-punk comfort zone to embrace irresistible melodies, tight harmonies, and a knack for sharp, straight-to-the-point pop songwriting—all without losing the raw edge that’s made them stand out.
