De Texaanse spacecountryrocker Garrett T. Capps noemt zichzelf een ‘cosmic country gonzo honky tonk weirdo freak’ en klinkt afwisselend als Gram Parsons, Tom Petty, The Byrds, Kraftwerk en Daniel Romano. De laatste jaren werkt Capps samen met zijn nieuwe begeleidingsband NASA Country – hun bandgeluid mogen we gerust etherisch noemen, vooral dankzij modulaire-synthesizergoeroe Justin Boyd, aka ‘de Brian Eno van de groep.’ Eind 2024 verscheen hun tweede album Everyone Is Everyone, onderdeel van wat een trilogie moet worden. Laat je bedwelmen door San Antone’s cosmic cowboys!
