Timothy Baker - Music

A native of Hazard, Kentucky, Timothy Baker grew up playing bluegrass and gospel music with his family, becoming proficient on a number of instruments including guitar, mandolin, banjo, and Dobro by the age of 12. He began singing and writing country music shortly thereafter and eventually started showcasing his talent on YouTube where he has amassed over 41K followers and received over 8 million views. A ten time winner of Bob Kingsley’s online cover contest, Timothy moved to Nashville, TN in July of 2018 and within a year signed a publishing deal with Blue Springs Music, run by hit songwriter Roger Springer. As a performer, Timothy has opened for Ricochet, Marty Raybon (of Shenandoah), Larry Stewart (of Restless Heart) and Richie McDonald (of Lonestar). Timothy’s most recent accolade is a viral TikTok video of his song “Kiss My Bass” that has garnered over 1.5 million views.
