CHANEY UK Biography
Since his breakout record on Skint in 2019, Chaney has become one of the UK’s most in-demand dance music DJ/Producers. Combining innate musicality with a slick production style and depth of sonic knowledge that continues to impress tastemakers of the highest order. With releases on key imprints such as Toolroom, KooKoo, and Insomniac.
Describing his sound as, “Nostalgic” and taking influences from, “disco, Deep House and early 2000s house,” he has garnered the support of key industry figures including Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones, Chris Lake, Danny Howard, Fisher, Adam Port, and The Blessed Madonna.
The turning point for Chaney’s career came when he released ‘39 Times’ on Skint, receiving strong tastemaker support from heavyweights such as Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones, and Annie Mac, who invited him onto her esteemed BBC Radio 1 show. He continued to further his impressive list of releases with records signed to Toolroom Records, D4 D4NCE [Defected Records], Insomniac, Edible, KooKo, Good Company, Armada, Cr2, and Stress Records, to name just a few.
As a DJ, Chaney has recently played renowned festivals and venues such as EDC Las Vegas, Nocturnal Wonderland, Academy LA, W Barcelona, as well as London’s KOKO and Studio 338.
