They are the only klezmer band to win a Grammy, receiving the 2006 Best Contemporary World Music Album award for Wonder Wheel: Lyrics by Woody Guthrie. Their 13 acclaimed recordings have topped the Billboard World Music charts, and their work has been featured in theater, dance, film, and television, including A Dybbuk, Pilobolus Dance Theatre’s Davenen, PBS’s Great Performances, and HBO’s Sex and the City.
