Really good show! The openers were also entertaining.
I’d never seen Thelma and the Sleaze before; the kicked ass big time.
It was my second time seeing Deer Tick and they were really dialed in, and really turned it on as the set progressed. The Warren Zevon cover (Play It All Night Long) was a treat.
Drive-By Truckers put on a spirited show that (unfortunately) was just shy of 2 hours because Marymoor has a local noise curfew of 10pm. Still a very enjoyable evening.

Drive-By Truckers Biography
Welcome 2 Club XIII, DBT’s 14th studio album, marks a sharp departure from the trenchant political commentary of their last three records.
A reckoning with the dualities of the things that make you alive and how they sometimes can kill you. A life affirming flashlight for the dark nights of one’s soul.
With guest appearances including Margo Price, Mike Mills and Schaefer Lllana.
The first single (and title track) is a tongue in cheek homage to a local dive that founding members Cooley and Hood played in their early days.
Disco lights and industrial carpet, they would occasionally play to a near empty room or open for a hair metal cover band.
As they say in the song “Our glory days did kinda suck”.
Welcome 2 Club XIII out on June 3, 2022
