About this concert
A once only chance to see the Spectones playing live in Brighton this year.
In a rare outing from his current abode in the south of France, harmonica player and vocalist Mark Anderson returns to play with the Spectones. Joining ( Speccy) Dave Simner (Curst Sons) on guitar, AD Harris (Coastliners) on drums, and Torquil MacLeod (Newrib) on bass.
The Spectones play electric rhythm and blues from the 1960s and 70s.

The Spectones Biography
The Spectones are a Rock ‘n‘ Roll band from Brighton, England, Specialising '60s rhythm & blues and good times.
Influences include Howlin Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Sonny Terry, John Lee Hooker, Solomon Burke, Blind Blake, Rufus Thomas, Bo Diddley, Big Joe Williams, Big Bill Broonzy, Leadbelly as well as the legendary British Blues bands.
Between them they have over one hundred and fifty years experience of working themselves and others into a sweaty frenzy.
