Barbara Tucker is an African American house music singer/songwriter/choreographer born in Brooklyn. She is an extremely popular New York nightclub performer and promoter, and she had a string of hits on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the nineties and into the 21st century, including six songs that hit #1:
