About this concert
Back in April 1995, Rick Price released "River Of Love" the first single from the album Tambourine Mountain which was also released in July of that same year. The single as well as the album scored high on the ARIA Charts.
Produced by Rick and acclaimed New York Producer Ben Wisch featuring special guest appearances by Tommy Emmanual on "Foolish Heart" and Tina Arena who joined Rick for the duet "Trust Me This Is Love". The album title refers to a picturesque rain forest area located in the Gold Coast Hinterland near Beaufesert where Rick grew up.
After the success of the first single "River Of Love" a second single "Bridge Building Man" was released. This song was written as an affectionate salute to his father and grandfather. These songs remain in Rick's set list to this day alongside his mega hits "Heaven Knows" "Not A Day Goes By" and "Walk Away Renee"

Rick was awesome. He really looked after those people that came to see him and enjoy the show. He interacted with the audience so brilliantly and had everyone singing Amazing Grace which was so beautiful and a highlight of an already awesome night.

Australian Singer/Songwriter Rick Price has walked the journey many musicians’ dreams are made of.
From his humble beginnings as a child performer with his family band in country Queensland dance halls, this self-taught artist has forged an internationally praised and respected career spanning three decades.
Multiple gold and platinum selling albums and numerous music industry awards including the prestigious APRA Song Of The Year award for his song “Heaven Knows” and both the APRA and Export Music Australia awards for his outstanding achievements abroad, are just some of his accolades.
In 2009 a move to the United States sparked not only new influences and a broader style for Price but also a return to his childhood musical roots. While there are still echoes of a pop artist, country rhythm and blues, meld beautifully with folk undertones to create the hybrid sounds of albums such as “The Water’s Edge” and “Tennessee Sky”.
Audiences all over the globe are moved by Rick’s amazing voice and soulful songs. A multi-instrumentalist, he is clearly the consummate performer.
Price is also a well-respected Producer, helping other artists to refine their songs in the studio.
Currently Rick resides in Nashville, Tennessee where he continues to write and record his music. His upcoming album aptly titled “Soulville” is due for release in 2021.
