About this concert
Thomas Truax is one of the most imaginative characters on the pop music fringe. He travels the world performing with his evolving "band" of surreal self-made Harry Partch-esque instruments including a motorized drum machine made of bike wheels called 'Mother Superior' and a pimped-up Dr. Seuss-ian Gramophone called 'The Hornicator', as well as guitar. The show has to be seen to be believed.
Support comes from an Oxford based ensemble of trippy songsmiths: Bloody Fiasco, and the experimental musical maverick: Asher Dust.

Thomas Truax inhabits the little known Wowtown with his erstwhile friends Mother Superior, The Hornicator and The Stringaling. He makes experimental yet accessible music with loop pedals, mechanical drum machines and instruments of own design, plus guitar. The most engaging experimentalist with quirky, story teller style songs.
