Wish You Were Here – The Sight & Sound of Pink Floyd returns to Akron Civic Theatre on Saturday, June 21, 2025 with its 50/30 Anniversary Tour to benefit Akron Children’s Pediatric Palliative Care Center. The show features the Wish You Were Here album in full, plus Pink Floyd classics, marking both the album’s 50th and the band’s 30th anniversaries. Since 2013, the band’s 8 benefit concerts with Akron Civic Theatre and WONE 97.5FM have raised over $219,000 for Akron Children’s and the Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center. Known since 1995 as The Sight and Sound of Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here is North America’s largest, most authentic Pink Floyd stage production—celebrating 30 years with a stunning live tribute of music, lasers, lighting, vintage videos, and flying inflatables. The 10-piece band performs Floyd from all eras, focusing on the Classic Years (1970–1981), the Syd Barrett era, and a laser light show from The Division Bell era—all 100% live, no backing tracks. Originally formed as Harvest Pink Floyd Revue in 1987, they are the world’s longest-running Pink Floyd tribute.
