About this concert
Next summer is going to be Madness! We're thrilled to announce that the legendary band Madness will headline the magical Tofte Manor on July 13th.
Emerging from the backstreets of Camden Town in the late ‘70s, Madness has remained one of Britain’s most enduring musical treasures. With 15 top 10 singles, 10 UK top 10 albums, and countless awards—including the prestigious Ivor Novello—they’ve left an indelible mark on music history.
From performing atop Buckingham Palace during the Queen’s Jubilee to setting record-breaking audiences for the BBC’s Live New Year’s Eve Broadcast, Madness has defined the soundtrack of generations. Their live shows continue to unite music lovers in joyous celebration.
We can all look forward to a live performance packed with classic hits like “Our House,” “It Must Be Love,” “Baggy Trousers,” “One Step Beyond,” and “House of Fun,” as well as exciting new material from their latest record. Hailed for their iconic hits and lively performances, Madness will bring their signature energy and timeless sound to a venue that effortlessly blends history, charm and magic.
Madness said themselves about the show: “We didn’t think there were any houses, county estates or fields we hadn’t played at...then who knew that the charming Tofte Manor in Bedford was literally right on our doorstep. Madheads unite next summer at this intimate and historic venue.” Attendees will have the opportunity to walk the manor’s sacred labyrinth, a mirrored design of the Chartres Cathedral labyrinth in France.
This symbol of peace and reflection offers a unique spiritual dimension, making Tofte Manor’s events as much about connection and inspiration as they are about world-class music.
