Fuzz Huzzi Biography
Fuzz Huzzi has been a mainstay of the San Diego music scene since 1994. After a brief hiatus they are back with a fresh line up and new batch of songs. The trend of very personal and emotional lyrics with a high intensity live show for which the band gained renown over the years strives to reach new hights.
Guitarist, vocalist and song writer Allen Camp has spend twenty five years telling his story of life in a difficult upbringing on the streets of Imperial Beach California in song. He continues to wear his heart on his slieve and be very open about his struggles as a working musician, the toal that touring takes on his family and the challenge of growing up with parents who spent most of his childhood fighting addiction. He has found an affective method for combining these complex topics with hard-driving Rock-N-Roll in to a blistering live set.
Frank Mercurio, bass, and Cory Wilkins, drums, are the new comers to the group, but each brings over twenty years of their own professional experience to the band. Mercurio spent most of the 2000s on major tours with Cypress Hill." Wilkins played drums as a youth, but became an award winning frontman and song writer during his twenties and early thirties. He rediscovered his love for drums filling in with Fuzz Huzzi for a set in Phoenix AZ in 2018 and has not looked back.
