About this concert
Music for Guitar by Bach, Satie, Barrios und Grasse Stefan Grasse's programme is a reaction to the current events of our time. Crises and upheavals awaken a longing for security and an ideal world. This makes music all the more important and effective in providing emotional protection and inner balance. In addition to the timeless music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Stefan Grasse plays his own neo-classical compositions and romantic music by Erik Satie, Àgustin Barrios and Heitor Villa-Lobos.

Stefan Grasse Biography

Stefan Grasse is an acoustic/classical guitarist and composer, based in Germany.
His latest album 'Inner Sound' builds on earlier successes 'Ripples' and 'Guitar Phases' and expands the warm, natural sound of his instrument with echoes and other effects.
"With Inner Sound, I wanted to open a new chapter and tell stories that touched and fascinated me. Inner Sound is a story of transition, of the metamorphosis that life brings. At the same time, it is also a longing to find a point of calm in the fragile reality of life. It is an attempt to face up to life, nature and transience. Past, present and future come together to form my new inner sound.”
