NiN are back with a bang! What a masterclass performance from Trent & Co.
Loved this band since the early 90's but it wasn't until the Peel it back tour that I truly appreciated just how good a vocalist Trent is. From softer, emotionally delicate and haunting to controlled growling song by song. Just excellent.
No opening act required. Boys Noize joined Trent for a few songs mid set and London was treated to a light and laser spectacle reminiscent of New Years Eve on the Thames. Overall, the show leaned more toward the side of dance than rock, but those in the standing section were moshing hard all the same.
Despite a slight technical hitch, the band powered through and after an hour and a half of old and new(er) hits, they left everyone in attendance wondering what on earth they had just witnessed.
