The Australian Pink Floyd Show

I watched The Australian Pink Floyd at the Empire theatre in Liverpool November 4th 2024, they sounded amazing and the light and laser show just added to their brilliance. Fast forward 11 months to Sunday 26/10/25, The Australian Pink Floyd were back in Liverpool, they played Wish You Were Here in it's entirety to celebrate it's 50th anniversary. No sooner had the last bars of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX)" died away then they launched into "In the Flesh" followed by four more songs from "The Wall" album. After a 30 minute intermission we are treated to another ten songs from the vast Pink Floyd musical catalogue, starting with "Astronomy Domine" building up to the crescendo that is "Comfortably Numb". I didn't think that the 2024 show could be improved up on, but the 2025 gig surpassed it. I am praying for another tour in 2027 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Animals 🤞
