Los Angeles-based Mike Casey is an internationally celebrated, saxophone-based artist & composer who balances an avant-garde creative spirit with relatable, poetic melodic sensibilities and a focus on cinematic ideation, resulting in a distinguished creative voice that mixes a stunning array of subgenres & influences with his jazz background in a highly unique way.
With over 70 million+ streams on his diverse catalog and features from The Huffington Post, BBC, CBC, Triple J, NPR Jazz Night in America + Morning Edition, Downbeat & more, Mike has established himself as a notable original voice in the millennial jazz generation to listen for.
His new 9th release "Valencia" (2024) hit #1 on the Bandcamp fusion charts, was featured on NBA icon Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s newsletter, in Jazz FM’s “Track of the Week”, Virgin Atlantic airlines and both Pandora & Spotify’s “Best Jazz of 2024”.
