About this concert
To celebrate Jamaica's 60th Anniversary Independence and a salute to all the athletes who are taking part in the Commonwealth Games.
A variety of National & international casts including MOBO Award Winner and Britain Got Talent Finalist will be on stage. A Cultural Evening of Music Dance Poetry and highlights of JA Story the History of Jamaica Musical.
Jamaica is global brand known for many heroes from Marcus Garvey to Sam Sharpe. It is the only country where five local forms of music Mento, Ska, Rock Steady, Reggae and Dance Hall has been embraced by the world. All elements and facets of Jamaica’s Heritage, Culture and its people will be celebrated in this Extravaganza.

Lurine Cato Biography
London based Gospel singer/songwriter Lurine Cato remains one of the most sought after independent vocal artists with that rare ability to appeal to a wide variety of audiences. Her distinctive brand of music is infused with inspirational undertones of faith, hope and love, a central theme to the material she writes that resonates with an eclectic mix of music lovers. A 2013 MOBO Award recipient (Best Gospel Act) and 2017 MOBO nominee in the same category, Lurine was a featured act at the 2017 MOBO Awards held in Leeds with the B Positive Choir, a partnership between the MOBOs and NHS Blood and Transplant. Also appearing at the 2017 MOBOs were Cardi B, Stormzy and Idris Elba. In 2020 Lurine was awarded an MBE by HRH the Queen in her annual birthday honors for services to charity and music
