RIOT in the ATTIC Biography

HEAVY ROCK THE WAY IT SHOULD BE
A Spaniard, a Mexican and a German walk into a bar - What sounds like the beginning of a bad
joke could also be Riot in the Attic feeling like an aftershow drink!
As different as they may seem at first glance, they have at least one thing in common: They do not
fit into the normality of our society.

This feeling of not belonginging paired with migration backgrounds and different musical
influences lead to the distinctive mixture in Riot in the Attic's music and lyrics.
This band won't fit into any of the stoner rock, hard rock or grunge pigeonholes and play their very
own individual sound linking these genres and adding personal influences of their heritage.

This is how heavy rock should be: rough, non-conformist and loud!

Over 150 shows, 2 EPs, 2 albums, positive reviews in international press, festival appearances,
support gigs for international bands and a fanbase that is constantly growing
worldwide are testament to the future prospects of Riot in the Attics.
The hard working band knows how to take their listeners on a very special journey.

After the release of their first album "Dawn" during the COVID pandemic in late 2020, the album
"Those who don't belong" was written by singer, guitarist and songwriter Dan and released in
November 2022 accompanied by the singles "War Pigs" (Black Sabbath cover) and "Sin & Wine"
and it's hilarious music video.
With over 100,000 streams and about 4000 playlist adds in the first two months of release on
Spotify alone, "Those who don't belong" confirms that Riot in the Attic's songs and sound capture
today's mood of many.

In 2024 the band is ready to release their third album and is
looking forward to Europe-wide concerts and tours.
