Shipyard Kitchen Party Biography
Your feet are sore from dancing, your belly is sore from laughing and your heart is stuffed with Canadian pride. You’ve just come home from a Shipyard Kitchen Party show.
With roots in Scotland, Newfoundland and Georgian Bay, we blend traditional instrumentation with humour, artistry and history to tell Canadian stories, our stories and even YOUR stories in original ways.
We’re Great Big Sea having a dram too many with Stan Rogers. We’re Gordon Lightfoot meets “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” We’ll make you stomp your feet and we might also make you cry.
But, no matter what, we WILL have a great time with you.
Shipyard Kitchen Party features John Eaton (Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Vocals), Sacha Law (Bass, Vocals) and Jay Murphy (Bodhran, Vocals).
