When it came time to decide how to follow up their latest EP For What It’s Worth, Take The Name wanted to expand on their sound and incorporate elements of alternative and pop to their heavier blend of rock.
Starting the new year after a rebrand, (formally Violet Nine) Take The Name recently signed a worldwide distribution deal with Blood Blast Entertainment after a long hurdle of challenges that may have stopped any band. Influenced by bands such as A Day to Remember, Point North, Sleeping with Sirens, Take The Name’s own blend of punk chords and anthem like choruses will be stuck in your head and have you waiting to see them in a city near you.
