Ducharme-Jones Biography
DUCHARME-JONES are an Americana Roots-Pop duo consisting of husband and wife singer-songwriters, Dave & Annie Ducharme-Jones. The two met in northwest Iowa at the end of their teens and their chemistry was immediate. They married and made their way to California where they worked on original music, recording at The Record Plant in Sausalito and performing in Marin County and around the San Francisco Bay Area. After reading an article in Rolling Stone magazine, they packed up and headed to Austin, Texas where they performed and lived their lives for 25 years before making their way back to Des Moines, Iowa. Inspired by a lifetime of different musical influences, the couple began co-writing in 2012, producing and releasing their first album Strangest Things (2016). Vagabonds & Poets (2019) followed, and was recently hailed as one of Iowa’s top ten records to hear in 2019 by Iowa Public Radio.
