DIAL Biography
DIAL's contemporary take on power-pop melodies over feedback-heavy music has solidified themselves in the Brisbane music scene. Guided by Elijah David and Hugh Daly's sonic hypnotism and backed by their powerhouse drummer Bobby Thornton and persistently aloof bassist Matt Leo, DIAL's energetic yet atmospheric essence is hard to ignore.
Projected through a wall of sound, DIAL's music is regularly compared to Spacemen 3, The Verve, The Jesus and Mary Chain and RIDE. Their debut singles, 'Pink and Blue’, ‘Ego’ and ’Sometimes Soon’, have garnered support from Triple J, Rage ABC, 4ZZZ, Australian Music Scene, theMusic, Happy Mag, Milky Mag and more.
