Discophonic Orchestra, opgericht in 2014, is een dynamische live muziekervaring die de gloriedagen van disco nieuw leven inblaast. Het orkest, gevestigd in Nederland, werd opgericht door jazz-trombonist en arrangeur Lex van Wel, die een diepe passie heeft voor de orkestrale en ritmische rijkdom van de disco uit de jaren '70.
