Andrew White Biography
-Andrew White -
...is a troubadour. He is one of those rare artists who can skilfully combine brilliant finger-style guitar work with a compelling story in lyric and deliver them both in an engaging live performance.
Currently Andrew is working with a managerial team to produce and promote his 14th album "Beautiful Trouble". This is also being supported by a Kickstarter campaign, which can be found at the following address:

"White's style is a unique, soulful mix, and his guitar playing is extraordinary." -Rambles Art Magazine, U.K.
"Andrew is a magical writer, listen to him with your heart.” - Tommy Emmanuel
“It is no stretch at all to describe Andrew White as the Art Tatum of the guitar.” – Stephen Pederson, Chronicle Herald, Canada
“White is one of those few blessed individuals who combines international-class finger-style guitar playing with great vocals and superb song- writing.” - Ian Melrose (Clannad)
“Andrew’s album Walk in Light is a heartfelt and inspirational journey of life and love. Andrew is a truly talented individual. His unique guitar style is a treat to the ears and his melodies and lyrics are infectious.” – Pam Sheyne (Songwriter “Genie in a Bottle” – Christina Aguilera)
‘Whether picking out a dainty traditional melody, tearing into a dirty blues workout, or artfully backing his tautly worded songs, his playing is continually embellished with layers of complementing nuance, both harmonic and textural, his singing is reminiscent of Sting at his darkly evocative best, only with a slightly hoarser, dustier edge.’ - The Scotsman UK
Andrew has toured, supported and performed with… The Corrs, Taj Mahal, Clannad Michelle Shocked, John Martyn Janis Ian, Cappercaille, Mary Black Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads) Eddie Reader, The Indigo Girls The Strawbs, Mick Avory (The Kinks), Dave Clarke, Noel Redding (Jimi Hendrix Experience) Dave Rowberry (The Animals), Brendan Power (Sting, Van Morrison), Seals and Crofts, Brian Ritchie (The Violent Femmes), Juan Martin Tommy Emmanuel, Ottmar Liebert Antoine Dufour, Andy Mckee, Don Ross, Brian Gore, Peppino D'Agostino, Pierre Bensusan, Tom Paxton, Roy Harper and others
