A Thorn for Every Heart Biography

The Chino Hills, California based group self-released their debut EP, "Silence Is Golden" in 2003, gaining them internet exposure and creating an underground following. Their first full-length album, "Things Aren't So Beautiful Now," was released on October 19, 2004 through Kickball Records, a small subsidiary of Interscope. The band recorded the album in summer 2004 with producer Shawn Sullivan (Bleeding Through, Reel Big Fish).

Their second full-length album, It's Hard to Move You, was set to be released on July 31, 2007. This album was leaked in its entirety on June 1, 2007. However, their record label, Kickball Records, was closed by its parent company Interscope Records and the band is currently in discussion with Interscope regarding the rights to the recordings.[1]

ATFEH has just release their newest installment "Pick Up The Pieces" July 1st 2008. With all the turbulence with Interscope the band has now refocused their energy. being free of the drama and away from the disorganized system. Under new management and taking their new music to their fans in '08 ATFEH is looking forward to reconnecting to their long time fan base across the US and overseas.

The band consists of: Kelvin Cruz (lead vocals), Phil Nguyen (guitar, vocals), Casey Hill (guitar, vox), Justin Powell (bass), and Matt Thorsen (drums).
