It was amazing. I love julien. I had an anxiety attack and projectile vomited and she stopped the music to make sure I was alright. She’s so lovely. Thank you for making amazing music that touches me and so many other people so deeply.

Left with a pit in my chest. It was so good my jaw is stuck open permanently.

I was at GAVIN DEGRAW album release q&a,( not with audience, I got the SEATED alert Julien was in town so I decided 29 min walk,took a picture of the Sold Out 3 day sign, and I Hope Maggie Rogers if she s still in NY stopped by Oct 8 Brooklyn Steel gig!! the openers for Oct 7 were Katie Malco and Laura Stevenson,I ACTUALLY commented to add to the staff saying:" you don't Know Who You'll see at this venue, famous ppl ,other musicians..." I added;"Laura Stevenson unless she s touring I can see being here"{ Laura was the second opener.and I got to have a conversation with Laura with her hairstyle Different every time I see her I ACTUALLY THOUGHT she was Julien the first time she passed me I belted out nervously:' How S Your Day!?'- BuddhistShawn

Julien was bigger than the National Symphony Orchestra - fact! Julien is my Spirit Animal…I look forward to her next concert.

Julien, Joy, and Petey were all so incredible live. Julien’s energy is so intense I couldn’t get one still picture of her! Such a stunning and moving show and the venue was gorgeous.

What a great show! Common Holly and Half Waif were great opening acts and The Opera House provided a perfect venue. I have seen Julien Baker at two times but her new album and debut provided a worthwhile evening that I will cherish. She had added the piano and a guest violinist for a few pieces. Julien’s music speaks to so many of us that you cannot help but love her music. I am hoping to see her return to Toronto or surrounding areas.

Other than it being super difficult to see Julien Baker performing onstage while I was back in the crowd, it was a great show. She's an amazing performer. Her amazing vocal skills are inimitable! She was an absolute delight.

Truly touching performance, with a lot of personality in between songs. Very fortunate to have seen her play. Not a stretch to say the music was better than the recordings.

Julien was great, as were The Decemberists. I just wish she had played a longer set. While the band came out and did several encores, she stuck to a strict 30 minutes. I would love to see her in a longer show.

Julien put on a fantastic show. She pours her heart into her songs and debuted a new one for us last night. Great venue, it was my first time there last night and it made quite the impression.

phenomenal. only a few artists can convey such emotion so beautifully and simply. when she is up there you join her on stage with voice and spirit. incredible, would watch her again in an instant!

looking past the few technical difficulties, grayling was an energetic opener and julien brought the most beautiful performance.

Julien (and opener Phoebe) was excellent. the dude who kept hassling Julien about signing his shirt and going back and forth from the bar to the front of the stage in the middle of songs was not.
