About this concert
De Amerikaanse band Beirut combineert indiefolk en balkan invloeden tot een meeslepend-melancholieke sound. Beirut is het project van Zach Condon, die zijn inspiratie uit de hele wereld haalt – je hoort balkanblazers, maar ook mariachitrompetten en accordeon. Toch is het vooral de rijke, ietwat mysterieuze stem van Condon zelf die nummers als Nantes, Postcards From Italy en Elephant Gun opdrijft naar tientallen miljoenen Spotify-streams. In 2023 verscheen Beiruts zesde album Hadsel, vernoemd naar het Noorse dorpje waar Condon de plaat opnam. Live on stage is Beirut een goed geoliede, veelkoppige band!

Where do i start zac condon and beirut have been on my bucket list for years so when i saw they were playing in utrecht i got a ticket straight away they did not disapoint they were fantastic and if i could have gone to belguim for the next gig i would have
