Ryan Dart Biography
Ryan Dart is a jazz guitarist, educator, and band leader residing in beautiful San Diego County. He performs jazz around San Diego County solo, or with the Ryan Dart Duo, Trio, or Quartet. He also currently teaches private jazz lessons.
Ryan has over a decade of experience playing wineries, restaurants, art galleries, weddings, and private events throughout California. Past clients include "House of Blues", in Hollywood, CA, "The Mint", in Hollywood, CA, and "The Aqua Lounge", in Beverly Hills, CA. Prices are negotiable and based on the specific event.
Ryan enjoys arranging your favorite songs in a unique chromatic swing style for weddings or private events (surprise him!). He was lucky to have studied with some of the greats at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA, including Charlie Haden (Ornette Coleman, John Coltrane), Joe LaBarbera (Bill Evans), Alphonso Johnson (John Scofield, Wayne Shorter), and Frank Gambale (Chick Corea) to name a few.
All tracks are performed and produced by Ryan Dart, except "All Bluez" (Davis) and "Chief's Blues" (Dart), performed by Ryan Dart Quartet.
