De Nederlandse saxofoniste/componiste Lotte Pen staat voor een nieuwe generatie klassieke musici. Ze was te horen in concertzalen van Tokio via Parijs tot New York met werk van anderen, tot ze besloot het roer om te gooien. Tegenwoordig schrijft Pen haar eigen muziek, met invloeden uit pop, neoklassiek en filmmuziek. In 2022 verscheen haar debuutalbum Pelgrim, een intrigerende plaat met trance-opwekkende kwaliteiten. Samen met Het Nederlands Bach Consort maakte Pen in 2024 de productie DuisterMis, een mis rondom het thema donker en licht. Een van de interessantste Nederlandse musici van nu!

Lotte Pen Biography
Lotte Pen represents a new generation of classical musicians. As a saxophonist, she could be heard in concert halls from Tokyo to New York, until she decided to radically change course. Nowadays she writes her own music with influences from pop, neoclassical and film music. Her debut album 'PELGRIM' was released in 2022. One of the most interesting Dutch musicians of today!
